Booking Appointments at Treeton Medical Centre

GP and ANP Appointments Urgent and Routine

Treeton Medical Centre offers a simple and convenient way to request appointments using Anima, our online consultation system. This allows patients to contact the practice quickly without needing to wait on the phone.

All appointments can be made via telephone, online and in person.  However in person and on the telephone will require the receptionist to complete the triage form for you asking your personnel details.

What is Anima?

Anima is an online service that lets patients submit requests for medical help, advice, or appointments at any time. Your request is reviewed by our clinical team, who will ensure you are booked with the most appropriate clinician, such as a GP or Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP).

How to Book an Appointment Using Anima

  1. Visit the Treeton Medical Centre website
  2. Click on the “Request and appointment” or Anima link
  3. Complete the online form with details about your health concern
  4. Submit your request

Once submitted:

  • Your request is reviewed by our clinical triage team
  • You will be contacted with:
    • An appointment (GP or ANP), or
    • Advice, prescription, or referral where appropriate

The Anima system ensures you are directed to the right clinician first time, improving efficiency and care.

Nurse & HCA Appointments

All Nurse and HCA appointments are bookable via telephone or face to face at the reception desk.

Consultation Times

Appointments are generally from 8am – 12 noon and 1.30pm – 5.30pm

Appointment types

Appointments may be in face to face, telephone or online.

Telephone consultation appointments

These can be pre-booked.

Problems suitable for telephone consultations maybe ongoing sick notes, medication reviews, discussing hospital referrals (if you have previously seen the GP), test results and follow up appointments. If you feel your issue could be dealt with over the telephone and would not require you to be seen by the GP, please ask specify in your request for a telephone appointment.
